The Perfect Bath Routine Fit for a Queen (or King)!

“My secret to winding down after a hectic workday is that I take an Epsom salt bath every night.”

— Gwyneth Paltrow

Despite being an actor, having a best-selling cookbook, running a successful business and taking care of her family, Gwyneth Paltrow stays pretty cool, calm, and collected and now you know why. In an interview, Gwyneth says that she uses plenty of organic essential oils to massage her pressure points.

If that isn’t enough then we are sure that Monica Geller will tell you how a bath allows you to “leave your worries behind.” That woman sure knows how to run the perfect bath.

The key: hand-crafted scented soaps and bath bombs, or bathBOMBERS as we call them.

Convinced? If yes, then here’s our recipe for running the most cozy, lush, and decadent bath:

Set the Scene

You will need scented candles, light music, a glass of wine, and your favorite magazine… the whole shebang to set the scene. In order to create a soul-soothing atmosphere, you need items that give you a relaxed feeling. Oh, and don’t forget to declutter your bathroom.

You want to take a bath without any distractions. Clothes hanging on the back of the door, bottles scattered on the counter, and toothpaste squeezed out of the tube… all this doesn’t exactly scream “relax.” Leave the candles burning in the bathroom for at least 30 minutes before you take a bath. We would recommend a lavender scented candle as it has relaxing properties. By the time you will enter the bathroom, you will feel like you are at a spa.

Get the Extras

To really take time with your bath, get one of those waterproof pillows, a bath tray, and a steamy romance novel to pass your time. You won’t regret it.

Freshen Up with a Hydrating Mask

Before getting in the bathtub, remove your makeup, and apply some skin toner. Removing the dirt and excess oil from your face will allow your skin to breathe. Once you get into the bathtub, apply the hydrating mask and relax for 15 minutes before removing it.

Prepare Your Bath

Here’s the bath stuff you need:

  • Epsom salt
  • your favorite bathBOMBER
  • Bubble bath liquid
  • Essential oil

*Additionally, you can also use one of our hand-crafted scented BARS.

  • Fill the bathtub with hot water and add a cup of simple Epsom salt
  • Add in a few drops of your favorite essential oil
  • Pour in the bubble bath liquid with a heavy hand because too much is never enough
  • Add one bathBOMBER
  • Let the bath sit for 2 minutes and then get in

And this is how you run a spa-like bath, which is fit for a queen. We would recommend that you use hand-crafted bath essentials for your bath as they are excellent moisturizers. Get your hands on a couple of scented angelBARS for your morning shower and you will feel a great difference in your bath routine. They will rejuvenate you and make your morning bright and sunny.
